The role involves leading End of Line test plan definition for new products and features, determining test strategies for safety and reliability, designing and executing PCBA and electrical system component tests, data analysis, designing next generation test automation hardware, purchasing and commissioning functional testers, developing test procedures and automation, supporting board bring-up and bench validation, supporting Design Engineer with DFT, manufacturing test bring-up and yield, and participating in design reviews. Required qualifications include a Bachelorβs Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 5+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience designing functional test equipment, experience in schematic capture and/or PCBA layout, scripting languages for automation, experience with computer hardware communication bus protocols and wired networking technologies, collaboration skills, lab safety understanding, measurement analysis techniques, hardware and software integration knowledge, source code revision experience, and an active U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include a Masterβs Degree, proficiency in MS Office and VISIO, detail orientation, experience in product release cycles, and hands-on experience with complex networking equipment and protocols.
