We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Product Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve electrical components for our products such as UL891 Switchboards, PDU, RPP, Transfer Switch and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in single lines, three phase schematic design, Power distribution and NEC and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, software, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop electrical systems and components for new and existing products. Mainly UL891 Switchboards, PDU and RPP.
• Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Select appropriate components and materials for electrical designs.
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure product safety, compliance, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle (concept to production).
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and cost-efficiency.
• Troubleshoot design and production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS).
• Support product launches with documentation, technical support, and design refinements.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical product design and development.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical power distribution design
• Proficient with EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle).
• Experience with embedded systems, analog/digital circuit design, and power systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation - $110,000 - $140,000
