Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. The Electrical Test Engineering team develops test systems to ensure quality and reliability of aerial and ground systems, working closely with Product Engineering groups. The role involves defining, owning, and executing End of Line test plans for new products and features, collaborating with firmware, software, and hardware teams. Responsibilities include designing and executing PCBA and electrical system component tests, data analysis, designing next-generation test automation hardware, managing purchasing and commissioning of testers, developing test procedures and automation, supporting board bring-up and bench validation, supporting design engineers with DFT, manufacturing test bring-up and yield, root cause analysis, leading design reviews, and providing technical mentorship. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 8+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience designing functional test equipment, 5+ years experience in schematic capture and/or PCBA layout (Altium Designer a plus), 5+ years experience in scripting languages for automation (Perl, Tcl, C/C++/C#, Python, MATLAB; LabVIEW a plus), experience with peripherals and test strategies, advanced experience with hardware communication bus protocols (USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, serial comms), experience with wired networking technologies (Gigabit, 10Gigabit), collaboration with cross-functional teams, understanding of lab safety protocols, familiarity with measurement analysis techniques, understanding hardware and software integration and test processes, experience with source code revision and control (GitHub a plus), and ability to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, proficiency in MS Office and VISIO, detail orientation, experience in product release cycles, hands-on experience with complex networking equipment and protocols, and background in IP network design.
