Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer Power Electronics Test & Validation
Location: 100% Onsite San Francisco Bay Area (Local Candidates Only)

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Education: M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
• Ideal Candidate Profile: Candidates with all preferred skills listed below.
• Performance Evaluation: Based on ability to meet deadlines and the quality of deliverables.
Top 3 Required Hard Skills
• Power Electronics Knowledge: Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control methods.
• Hands-On Testing & Troubleshooting: At least 3 years of experience with validation, troubleshooting, and use of lab equipment such as:
• Battery simulators
• Power supplies
• Electronic loads (E-loads)
• Oscilloscopes, etc.
• Technical Writing & Communication: Minimum 3 years of experience clearly conveying complex technical concepts in both written and verbal formats.
Responsibilities
• Review schematics, PCB designs, and perform simulations of power electronics converters.
• Conduct verification and validation tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in power electronics systems using lab equipment.
• Analyze root causes and lead R&D efforts for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system development and improvements.
• Document test results and present findings in clear, technical reports.
Preferred Qualifications
• M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in power electronics testing and validation.
• Solid foundational knowledge of power electronics systems and automotive standards.
• Familiarity with functional safety and EMI/EMC testing is a plus.
