About the Job

The Embedded Systems Assistant will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing electrical, aerospace, and mechanical engineering support to various US Air Force Global Strike Command and Department of Defense programs.
\\
As an Embedded Systems Assistant, you will assist the engineering team in developing embedded design, development, integration, testing, research, and documentation.
\\
You will work closely with engineers to develop technical documentation and reports based on hardware investigations and support department activities via design and electrical/mechanical hardware assembly.
\\
Main Responsibilities
\\
• Develop embedded design, development, integration, testing, research, and documentation.
• Develop technical documentation and reports based on hardware investigations.
• Support department activities via design and electrical/mechanical hardware assembly.
• Research manufacturing techniques, material sources, hardware suppliers, and process improvements.
\\
Required Skills and Qualifications
\\
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with interest in Power Supply Engineering.
• No prior experience required, but strong communication skills are essential.
• Programming and/or simulation tools from academic classes such as LabVIEW or related.
• BASIC knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering concepts from academic classes.
• A valid driver's license is required.
