Step onto a major compressor station project as the owner's onsite electrical representative, driving field execution, RFI resolution, and commissioning readiness for a large industrial power infrastructure buildout.
What You'll Own:
- Serve as the onsite electrical representative, verifying installations of switchgear, MCCs, transformers, protective relays, and EMDs against approved drawings and NEC requirements
- Own electrical RFIs and field issue resolution, tracking to closure and escalating safety, code, cost, or schedule risks
- Support installation, tie-in, grounding, and integration of onsite power generation and temporary power bridge systems
- Verify NEC compliance for grounding, bonding, labeling, clearances, and temporary power connections before energization
- Maintain accurate electrical redlines/as-builts and support job books, test records, and punch list closure
- Coordinate daily with construction management, inspectors, engineering, vendors, and commissioning teams
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and hands-on electrical construction experience (8+ years relevant experience)
- Strong electrical construction support experience in industrial or energy facilities
- Hands-on experience with EMDs, MCCs, switchgear, protective relays, breakers, ATS, and transformers
- Working knowledge of NEC applied practically in the field
- Experience managing RFIs, redlines, punch lists, and turnover documentation
- Practical knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and temporary power systems
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience on compressor stations or similar large industrial infrastructure projects
- Experience with hazardous area classifications in natural gas, oil & gas, or chemical facilities
- Prior experience acting as an owner's field representative
If you want hands-on ownership of a major compressor station buildout from the field, not the drafting table, this is a strong next assignment.
