Collaborating with commissioning, project management to convert customer wishes into sustainable energy solutions.
Creating detailed electrical drawings and schematics that meet customer requirements and project goals
Writing manuals and functional descriptions, so that both our team and the customer understand how the system works.
Compliance with laws and regulations, including safety standards such as NEN 3140 and IEC 62040.
Project management support for technical questions, updates, and specifications.
Developing PLC software, configuring and programming in ComAp to integrate interfaces with communication protocols such as Modbus TCP within the Energy Management System (EMS) for seamless operation
Detailed elaboration of each project aspect for successful implementation.
Establish testing requirements and control procedures (including FAT and SAT testing) to ensure quality.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Under 28 years of age
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
Experience designing electrical schematics for battery energy storage systems, emergency power systems or similar energy solutions
Understanding of generator control and communication systems, including automatic start/stop, synchronisation and load sharing between multiple generators
Experience with ComAp or Deep Sea Electronics controllers is highly important
Knowledge of automation, PLCs, SCADA or energy-management systems is considered an advantage
Package & Remuneration
Contract of at least 32 hours per week, adaptable to the position.
A salary between €3,800 and €5,900 gross per month depending on knowledge and experience.
A company phone, laptop and car (depending on your entry level).
Collective end-of-year bonus.
Holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary, paid in June.
A total of 30 days of leave per year with full-time employment and the possibility to buy extra days.
Working under the Collective Labor Agreement for Metal & Technology – Technical installation company.
