Our salary ranges are based on similar roles and levels. Individual pay within this range depends on performance, knowledge, skills, experience, and education. Schneider Electric offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible work, paid family leaves, 401(k) with match, well-being programs, holidays, paid time off, stock purchase options, and military leave.As a Power System Engineer, you will be recognized as a subject matter expert, working with customers, business development managers, and project developers to develop and deliver solutions aligned with end-user goals. You will evaluate customer needs and deliver solutions that meet project specifications, scope, schedule, and budget.Your typical day will include:Providing technical consultation to build trusted relationships with customers.Developing and maintaining technical and commercial competencies.Developing proposals and technical reports.Training and mentoring team members.Leading troubleshooting activities.Collaborating with your manager on professional development plans.Protection, Controls, and Automation Activities include:Developing expertise in Schneider PCA offers.Reading and modifying electrical drawings.Creating and modifying PLC and HMI programs for Automatic Throwover (ATO) applications.Developing/altering Sequence of Operations procedures.Implementing solutions for power system issues.Participating in the PCA Community of Practice.Basic Qualifications:BSEE or MSEE degree.At least 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer.Experience with power systems or controls engineering, including PLCs and HMIs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.A passion for growth and customer service.Preferred Qualifications/Experience:Switchgear power automation for ATO programming in PLCs or protective relays.Protective relay programming and commissioning.Electrical maintenance and testing exposure.Ability to interpret power system studies.Generator controls knowledge.Ability to analyze engineering documents, codes, standards, and procedures.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Consulting, and Project ManagementIndustriesElectric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
