GlobalFoundries, a leading semiconductor foundry, is seeking an intern to support the 300mm technology development integration team. This role offers ownership of process integration for Silicon Photonic devices from development to production.
The core responsibilities involve collaboration with device, process module, and packaging teams in driving I/O solutions. The successful candidate will learn integration module ownership for development and qualification of Silicon photonics I/O.
Key qualifications include at least sophomore-level education, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or related field. A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing are also required. Fluency in English (written and verbal) is necessary, as well as the ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Education: At least sophomore-level education, actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
