Collaborating cross-functionally with various hardware and software teams to define prototype hardware to evaluate new technologies and features is critical. As the Hardware Design Engineer you will be leading deliverables to align with project goals while ensuring thorough and precise documentation of various steps from concept to architecture and through manufacturing and use.
BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Electronics experience in processor peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, storage, high speed serial interfaces, and power supply design.
Strong working knowledge of Signal and Power Integrity and protocols for PCB layout and construction.
Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
Electronics experience in SOCβs, microcontrollers, microprocessors (ARM), FPGAβs, Camera electrical protocols (e.g., MIPI, LVDS, SDI, DP, HDMI) and sensors or transducers.
Taking designs from concept through manufacturing & test, perform mechanical assembly for quick prototypes, and bring-up/debug & validation of digital designs.
