We're partnered with a rapidly growing company Avionics company in Los Angeles that's seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer with expertise in High-Speed Digital electronics.
You'd be responsible for developing high-performance boards suitable for space applications. You'll drive the entire lifecycle—from design to deployment—collaborating with software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to create robust communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and analyze board designs, selecting optimal components
• Capture schematics and design layouts for PCBs
• Conduct bring-up and testing of new hardware
• Coordinate with RF engineers to integrate analog and digital systems
• Ensure compliance with space-grade performance and reliability standards
• Optimize thermal dissipation in collaboration with mechanical engineers
• Streamline manufacturing and iteration processes with supply chain teams
Required Skills:
• Expertise in PCB design using EDA tools
• Strong grasp of electrical engineering principles
• Experience with Xilinx Zynq MPSoC (or similar)
• Proficiency in designing power architectures with complex sequencing
• Hands-on experience interfacing with multiple onboard chipsets (SPI, I2C, UART)
