Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking to connect with experienced Electrical Engineers with strong experience in the design and delivery of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, and infrastructure projects. The role requires solid technical capability and the ability to support projects from concept design through to construction and commissioning.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in MV/LV reticulation design, including safe and compliant electrical distribution systems for a range of project types.
• Knowledge of lighting and small power design, including load calculations, equipment selection, and energy efficient solutions.
• Experience with generators and UPS systems, including design integration and supporting infrastructure.
• Exposure to Solar PV systems, including grid-tied and hybrid energy solutions.
• Strong background in building services design across commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate teams, including managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP for BIM modelling and coordinated design outputs.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for producing and reviewing technical drawings.
• Experience using Relux or Dialux for lighting design and calculations.
• Experience with ETAP or similar software for power system analysis and modelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (BEng, BSc, or BTech).
• ECSA registration will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant electrical engineering experience in consulting, construction, or infrastructure projects.
