Senior Electrical & Embedded Systems Engineer – Electrical Engineering Center of Excellence

We are seeking a senior-level professional to lead the design, development, and integration of electrical hardware and embedded software systems that drive next-generation innovations in product performance, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and test electrical hardware across a variety of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine complex product requirements.
• Create detailed electrical schematics and perform PCB layout for custom circuit board designs.
• Coordinate with external vendors for PCB manufacturing, component sourcing, and on-site population.
• Conduct rigorous design validation, including hardware testing and system analysis.
• Develop and optimize embedded software using C/C++, including:
• Software requirement development in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Writing efficient, scalable embedded code using industry-standard development practices.
• Performing unit testing and integration testing to validate firmware functionality.
• Integrate hardware and embedded software systems to ensure seamless, real-time performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and analyze electrical systems for improved reliability and efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, procedures, and test plans.
• Develop tools and processes to enhance engineering innovation, reduce time-to-market, and ensure product quality.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in electrical engineering, embedded systems, and smart technology applications.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Proven expertise in hardware design, including:
• CAN bus systems
• Motor control systems (brushed and brushless DC motors)
• Digital sensors, analog sensors (e.g., Hall effect, 9-DOF sensors)
• Relay circuits
• Hands-on experience with hardware testing equipment and software debugging tools.
• Proficiency in embedded systems programming using C/C++.
• Deep knowledge of software development best practices, including code scalability and modular architecture.
• Experience creating and deploying smart algorithms on embedded platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and product development cycles.
• Understanding of electronic manufacturing processes and hardware production workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent team collaboration and technical communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated passion for technology innovation and continuous improvement.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience with vision systems, including camera integration, data labeling, and machine learning models.
• Ability to design custom enclosures for electronic assemblies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, CMII, ASPICE, and functional safety compliance.
• Proven success developing connected devices using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular communication technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity in embedded systems.
• Experience with vendor management and outsourced manufacturing operations.
