Zeta Associates Inc seeks a highly skilled Linux and Telecom Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing software systems that run on Linux and Unix environments, with a strong background in C/C++ and Java programming languages.
The candidate will be responsible for applying protocol and telecom signaling knowledge and technical expertise to provide mission-oriented customer solutions. They should have experience with Python, shell scripting, and configuration management (GIT) to manage processes.
A strong understanding of cellular technologies (including LTE, UMTS, GPRS, GSM and CDMA), both air interface and wire line traffic, central office networking (SONET/SDH), numerical algorithms, and encryption are highly desired. The candidate should also be experienced in all aspects of code design, implementation, testing, analysis, and debugging.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required. Experience in Linux, Python, C, C++, network protocol analysis, and cellular communications or reverse engineering is highly desired.
