Position: Field Electrical Engineer
Location: Tokyo, Japan | Full-time

ï· Wind Resource Assessment Solutions (Met Masts, LiDAR systems)
ï· Custom Power Backup Systems (generator and renewable energy integration)
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Field Electrical Engineer to support the
deployment, integration, testing, and maintenance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Field Deployment & Commissioning
ï· Install, configure, and commission electrical and electronic systems at project sites
(nationwide and occasional international travel)
ï· Perform system integration of sensors, communication devices, control units, and power
systems
ï· Conduct site acceptance testing (SAT) and ensure systems meet performance requirements
ï· Troubleshoot and resolve on-site electrical, communication, and system-level issues
System Integration & Testing
ï· Support integration of COTS modules into complete system architectures (sensor, comms,
control, power)
ï· Assist in factory acceptance testing (FAT) prior to deployment
Electrical Design Support
ï· Assist in schematic review, component selection, and system design improvements
Documentation & Compliance
ï· Prepare installation reports, test records, and maintenance documentation
ï· Provide feedback from field experience to improve design and product reliability
Collaboration
ï· Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and project teams for seamless system delivery
ï· Support client communication during installation, testing, and troubleshooting phases
Qualifications
ï· 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, field engineering, or system integration
ï· Strong hands-on skills with electrical systems, wiring, and instrumentation
ï· Experience with analog/mixed-signal circuits (ADCs, DACs, signal conditioning)
ï· Proficiency with test equipment
ï· Experience troubleshooting and root cause analysis in real-world environments
ï· Willingness to travel for fieldwork (domestic and occasional international)
ï· Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred:
ï· Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering
ï· Knowledge of power systems (battery, solar, generators)
ï· Japanese language ability (business level or higher)
