JOB DETAILS:
• Location: Austin, TX
• Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week) onsite from our Austing office throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
• Duration: September 8, 2025 – December 12, 2025

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We are seeking highly motivated Firmware Engineering intern/co-op to join our team and work with team members in the support, design, development, and delivery of Firmware for AMD’s discrete and embedded products. In this role you will –
• Work with a team to implement and develop features for Server CPUs
• Focus on AGESA/OpenSIL and various other components involving UEFI Firmware
• Employ debugging techniques within firmware and CPUs
• Utilize evolving industry technologies like AI

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering program.
• You have –
• Good problem-solving skills
• Experience with Python, C/C++ and Linux
• Experience working with Build tools like GCC, Infrastructure environment like Jenkins, Github etc.
