As Lead Electrical Engineer you will be accountable for electrical engineering discipline for the project which includes assurance that the engineering deliverables are compliant with contract requirements and technical sign-off of changes.

To succeed in this role, you should have 15 years of experience as electrical engineer.

What you’ll do

We are looking for Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in Indonesia.

The role responsibilities include:

1.      Development of preliminary designs and specifications, development of performance-based EPC contract documents for power plant and SAGS, tender evaluation, design review and attendance at key factory acceptance tests.

2.      Ensures the correct implementation of relevant international standards and any applicable regulations requirements, review and comments (including the consolidation of the comments from the other engineering disciplines and operations) of the key deliverables such as Safety In Design (SID) Concept

3.      Perform engineering duties in planning and design of electrical system, equipment such (LV/MV Motor, MV/LV SWGR, Transformer, Generator including AVR, etc)  protection system, DC System, UPS system, Batteries and other electrical functioning equipment and good practices in term of design, reliability, maintainability and operability

4.      Familiar with ETAP software to conduct simulation of power system analysis (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Transient, Motor Starting, Arc Flash, etc) and evaluate electrical systems and equipment by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and equipment’s

5.      Responsible for the technology and application of the electric power generation, distribution and system controls. Key deliverable of the Electrical Engineering is a one-line diagram, electrical load list, electrical equipment datasheet, electrical bulk materials and distribution network drawing. etc.

6.      The role will include the development of preliminary designs and specifications, development of performance-based EPC contract documents for power plant and SAGS, tender evaluation, design review and attendance at key factory acceptance tests. 

7.      Develop engineering design specifications, datasheets and requisition documents for assigned discipline deliverables and familiar with electrical protection system and conduct analysis using protection software (Beckwith, GE, Basler, Schneider, SEL, etc)

8.      Part of the design and engineering discipline, deals with the electricity power system including power generation and distribution system, and electrical power system controls.

What you’ll have

1.      Design engineers with specific geothermal power plant and Steam Field Above Ground (SAGS) experience. 

2.      Experience in power or oil & gas plant design and specification of geothermal power plant comprising both conventional Rankine steam cycle and Organic Rankine Cycle plant.

3.      Having 15 years of experience as electrical engineer

4.      Having basic safety knowledge, able to implement safety process and mitigate risk effectively in order ensure safety working properly.
