What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
· Review transmission line electrical design basis, conductor/OPGW data, insulation coordination, grounding, shielding, clearance, sag-tension, and electrical performance-related documentation.
· Review transmission line interfaces with 500kV substations, gantries, line bays, telecom/OPGW, and system study requirements.
· Identify design risks related to electrical performance, clearances, losses, insulation, grounding, and grid interface requirements.
· Support technical meetings, contractor comment resolution, and client recommendations.
What you’ll have
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
· Minimum 10 years of relevant transmission line engineering experience, preferably for HV/EHV projects.
· Experience with 500kV overhead transmission line projects is strongly preferred.
· Experience using or reviewing PLS-CADD outputs.
· Ability to interpret power system study requirements and coordinate with substation and transmission structural teams.
