About the position
Responsibilities
• Responsibility for electrical hardware development to support multiple hardware/software testing efforts.
• Ensuring hardware team compliance with product and lab best practices.
• Debugging issues with existing code bases.
• Responsibility for electrical hardware system development, assembly, and integration efforts within multiple vehicle system applications.
• Support all travel as needed based on mission requirements.
Requirements
• B.S. or greater in Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline is required.
• Experience with Electronic Control Systems.
• Broad experience with Electronics and Digital Communication Buses (e.g. RS422, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, Ethernet, etc.).
• Experience with Electrical/Electronics laboratory equipment and environment.
• Product development experience and knowledge.
• VHDL and/or Xilinx FPGA experience is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
• Interest or experience in team-based Hardware and Software Development and Configuration Management Tools.
• Experience in Hardware and Software Integration.
• Experience in hardware interface testing.
• Oversight of the hardware design process.
• Experience designing Embedded Systems/Software including PCB and firmware.
• Re-engineering, T&E, or related experience with DoD Ground and weapon platforms is a plus.
