Support Arora’s Electrical team in delivering high-quality engineering design projects while gaining hands-on experience in electrical engineering.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Electrical team in executing Arora’s mission of “Improving the quality of life by Rethinking Infrastructure.”
• Assisting licensed Electrical Engineers and Designers in meeting client needs.
• Learning and applying basic principles of electrical engineering to real-world projects.
• Supporting the development and delivery of high-quality engineering design documents to clients.
• Participating in project meetings with engineers, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Learning and developing basic engineering contract documents, including technical reports, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Learning and developing AutoCAD and Revit drafting skills.
• Assisting in analyzing codes and standards.
• Assisting in the performance of electrical calculations.
• Assisting in the selection and specification of products.
• Exercising responsible and ethical judgment in daily tasks.
• Performing additional functions as required by business needs.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Genuine interest in developing real-world experience in the design of water-based fire protection and fire alarm systems.
• General familiarity with National Electrical Code.
• General familiarity with model building codes.
• General familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit computer-aided drafting software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam/Adobe software.
• Ability to analyze technical problems in a methodical and detail-oriented manner.
• Ability to collaborate with team members in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in both verbal and written format.
• Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Engineering Technology undergraduate program at an accredited university, preferably in their junior year of study.
• Availability to work a minimum of four days in office (Monday through Thursday), with Friday remote work at the supervisor’s discretion.
