Job Description

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a co-op student to join the Spacecraft Power Engineering team. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of power converters and analog electronics for space flight applications. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, test, and deliver analog power electronics. You will work closely with full-time staff to learn design and testing techniques, as well as develop analysis and simulation skills. This co-op opportunity will provide valuable experience in electrical engineering and a chance to work on exciting projects like Dragonfly and IMAP.

Required Skills and Qualifications
β€’ Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
β€’ Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
β€’ Familiarity with electrical circuit concepts
β€’ Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment
Preferred Skills: Experience with electrical design and simulation software, analysis software, and project team experience.
