About the Job:
We are looking for a talented RF Systems Engineer to support our government sponsors by developing, analyzing, and implementing Electronic Counter-Measures (ECM) systems and threat device defeat techniques to protect military personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF / Microwave circuits and systems, digital signal processing, and RF test measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate next generation Electronic Counter-Measures (ECM) systems while developing advanced techniques to defeat wireless threats
• Perform tear down analyses and reverse engineer wireless devices
• Analyze wireless communications systems robustness to interference
• Work with ECM system vendors to optimize performance and effectiveness
• Devise and participate in field tests to evaluate threat defeat effectiveness
Requirements:
• Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience developing and analyzing RF / Microwave circuits and systems, including RF digital communications systems
• Well-versed in the development of wireless link budgets, radio wave propagation concepts, and RF circuit cascade analyses
• Comprehensive understanding of digital signal processing, including digital modulation and demodulation concepts and signal coding
• Skilled in RF and microwave test measurements / concepts and test equipment, including network analyzers, vector signal generators, vector signal analyzers, and oscilloscopes
