Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering Associate for our Raleigh, N.C. office. As an Electrical Engineering Associate, you will serve as an integral member of our electrical team in our Civil Department. Summary

Position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques. Responsible for planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. Devise new approaches to problems, prepare or modify drawings, monitor work compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and TEP standards.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Devise new approaches to problems and prepare or modify drawings, monitor work compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and TEP standards.
• Perform inspections on telecommunications sites from ground, rooftops, and raw land sites
• Prepare reports related to tower mappings and inspections.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings on collocation and raw land sites.
• Work with other engineering disciplines to determine specifications and designs
• Develop proficiency in equipment details for several clients
• Potential overflow into other areas of Engineering.
• Perform power calculations for telecommunication sites.
• Design and analyze electrical systems for inclusion in construction drawings

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of design and engineering techniques is required.
• Ability to travel to sites for inspections. Ability to pass MVR check and be insured under company policy
• Experience in working with multiple discipline projects within the telecommunication, residential, commercial or light/heavy industrial fields is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Licensed EIT is required
• CAD Experience preferred.
