Electrical Engineer in the Netherlands

About the role
Are you an Electrical Engineer who wants to do more than just sit behind a screen, someone who likes seeing their designs come alive on site? In this role with one of our clients in the Netherlands, you'll be responsible for the electrical engineering on a range of projects, from initial concept and calculations through to commissioning support.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, distribution and control;
- Producing specifications, single-line diagrams and technical documentation;
- Performing load calculations, cable sizing and protection coordination;
- Working closely with mechanical, instrumentation and project teams;
- Supporting suppliers, contractors and clients during installation and commissioning.

What you bring
- A BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent);
- Experience in industrial electrical design;
- Comfort with relevant standards (IEC, NEN or equivalent) and design tools;
- Strong communication so you can explain your choices to engineers and operators alike.
