The Role

We’re after an Electrical Engineer (2-5 years’ experience) to support projects from design through to commissioning, while also contributing to asset integrity – ensuring reliability, safety, and lifecycle performance of critical assets.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver electrical designs, calculations, and documentation

• Define scopes, provide technical solutions, and support commissioning

• Carry out lifecycle asset integrity activities, and inspections

• Support safety studies (HAZOPs, LOPAs, etc.) and compliance with standards

• Attend site visits as required

• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team driving sustainable outcomes

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (recognised in Australia)

• 2–5 years’ experience in heavy industry, energy, or EPC projects

• Strong technical grounding (HV/LV, power studies, protection, earthing)

• Experience across design, site work, and asset integrity activities

• Team focus with problem-solving mindset

• Ability to gain Registered Professional Engineer within Queensland/Victoria or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (support provided)

• Hazardous Area Classification & Design experience/accreditation (highly desirable)
