About the Role:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in power electronics, lithium-ion battery systems, power systems, and electrical design to support the integration of advanced energy storage and charging solutions across industrial applications. This role serves as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring successful implementation, testing, validation, and optimization of battery and power conversion systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about electrification, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in a collaborative engineering environment with opportunities for project leadership and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical resource supporting the integration of lithium-ion battery systems and power electronics into customer applications.
  • Translate customer requirements into detailed engineering specifications, technical solutions, and implementation plans.
  • Perform electrical testing, system validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis using diagnostic equipment such as digital multimeters, current probes, and oscilloscopes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product development teams to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including electrical specifications, integration guides, user manuals, test procedures, and technical data sheets.
  • Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, customer training, and application support throughout the implementation process.
  • Support failure investigations and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality and system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering best practices.
  • Monitor advancements in battery technology, power electronics, and industrial electrification to recommend product improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Lead customer integration projects as experience grows while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, battery technology, power electronics, energy storage systems, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, circuit analysis, electrical design principles, and applied physics.
  • Experience working with AC and DC power systems, including three-phase electrical systems up to 600 VAC and DC systems up to 120 VDC.
  • Proficiency using electrical test equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, current probes, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Experience performing system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to develop technical documentation, engineering reports, and customer-facing support materials.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% as required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional engineering teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial equipment, material handling systems, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), or construction equipment applications.
  • Knowledge of lithium-ion battery integration, battery management systems (BMS), charging systems, and power conversion technologies.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety and compliance standards such as UL, ISO, IEC, or similar regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with embedded systems, firmware integration, or hardware-software interfaces.
  • Technical writing experience supporting engineering documentation and customer support materials.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, product development, or applications engineering environments.
  • Project leadership experience managing engineering integration projects from concept through implementation.
  • Additional language proficiency is considered an asset.
