What You’ll Do

• Use your electrical design expertise to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across a range of projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, workshop, and fabrication teams to develop practical and integrated design outcomes.
• Design and evaluate electrical systems, components, and power infrastructure to meet project requirements.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Ensure design accuracy, compliance, and quality through thorough reviews, calculations, and testing activities.
• Contribute to project success by supporting technical documentation, tender submissions, and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare technical reports and provide engineering support while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design within industrial, infrastructure, or similar environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in electrical/HV testing, troubleshooting, and project delivery.
• Knowledge of power systems, HV/LV equipment, relevant electrical standards, and industry software (e.g., ETAP, SKM PTW, PowerCAD, DIgSILENT) is highly regarded.
• Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards and industry compliance requirements would bring great value.
• Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.

Work setup:

• Kuala Lumpur (Mid Valley City): Australian hours (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM MYT) Hybrid setup.
