What You’ll Do
- Use your electrical design expertise to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across a range of projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, workshop, and fabrication teams to develop practical and integrated design outcomes.
- Design and evaluate electrical systems, components, and power infrastructure to meet project requirements.
- Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Ensure design accuracy, compliance, and quality through thorough reviews, calculations, and testing activities.
- Contribute to project success by supporting technical documentation, tender submissions, and stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare technical reports and provide engineering support while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design within industrial, infrastructure, or similar environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in electrical/HV testing, troubleshooting, and project delivery.
- Knowledge of power systems, HV/LV equipment, relevant electrical standards, and industry software (e.g., ETAP, SKM PTW, PowerCAD, DIgSILENT) is highly regarded.
- Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards and industry compliance requirements would bring great value.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
