Electrical Engineer

Location: North of Chippewa Falls, WI (100% On-Site)
Compensation: $100,000–$125,000 + Bonus/Profit Sharing Potential

Due to significant company growth and facility expansion, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a highly collaborative engineering team supporting innovative industrial systems and equipment. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing organization that is expanding its manufacturing footprint and customer base.

This role will support engineering, product development, sales, field service, and customer applications while helping design and improve electrical systems, controls, and equipment used in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve electrical systems, controls, and equipment
  • Create electrical schematics, circuit designs, and control system documentation
  • Develop specifications for electrical components and systems
  • Support troubleshooting and technical problem resolution for installed products
  • Work directly with customers, field service technicians, and internal teams to provide technical support
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop application-specific solutions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation and project deliverables
  • Participate in new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise to project teams and management
  • Travel approximately 10-15% to customer sites as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with relay logic, PLC operation, and PLC programming
  • Knowledge of AC power distribution systems
  • Strong communication and project documentation skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel (15%)

Preferred

  • AutoCAD Electrical experience
  • SolidWorks experience
  • Understanding of NEC and UL codes
  • Experience with PLC-based controls, HMIs, instrumentation, and industrial automation
  • Steel fabrication or industrial equipment experience
  • CFD/FEA experience
  • Familiarity with combustion systems, emissions control equipment, or industrial process technologies
