Introduction

A dynamic and well-established Engineering Consulting firm specialising in Building Services is seeking the full-time services of an ECSA-registered Electrical Engineer to join its Centurion office as soon as possible.
This exciting opportunity offers exposure to a diverse range of multidisciplinary engineering projects within the commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use sectors.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and professional individual with strong technical expertise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering innovative engineering solutions within a collaborative consulting environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inception, Concept & Feasibility Design, Detail Design
Tender and Procurement
Construction and project management
Financial Cost Control
Project close-out of Electrical and Electronic building services
Building services for amongst others offices, retail parks, hospitals, hotels, education facilities, industrial buildings, warehouses and data centers.
 
SCOPE OF WORK:
Electrical Building Services
Standby Power and UPS Systems
Power Distribution Systems
Building Management and Control Systems
Lighting Systems
Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Solutions
Renewable Energy Systems
Backup Power Systems

Desired Experience & Qualification

Degree: B Eng or BSc Eng (Electrical) - not negotiable 
MUST be registered as Candidate or Professional Engineer with ECSA 
1-3 years' experience in Building Services Engineering
Experience in hospitals, retail developments, data centres, office buildings, mixed-use developments, hotels etc. highly recommended
Sound knowledge of MS office, Outlook, electrical design software
Good written and verbal communication skills
Own reliable transport, valid driver's license
Willing to travel to projects on building sites
Medically fit to obtain medical certificate

Package & Remuneration

Salary package is market related, negotiable depending on qualifications, ECSA registration status, and post-qualification experience
