Position: Electrical Compliance Engineer
Location: Henrico, VA(Remote)
• Essential ResponsibilitiesValidate, read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complexautomated system drawings.
• Analyzes engineering change orders to system updates and implements changes to resolveproblems.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality teams in the qualification process of assemblyintegration to production systems.
• Record procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations forchanges in product or method.
• Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operationalspecifications.
• Ensure system compliance with budgets, standards and regulations.
• Provide reviews to the product design engineer to ensure Design for Compliance.
• Oversee product verification and characterization.
• Typically requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with some relateexperience or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 6 years of related experience.
• Previous experience with the following UL standards: 891 Switchboards, 1558 Switchgears, 857Busways, 1008 Transfer Switch
