As a DSP Communications Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize cutting-edge software-based solutions for modern communications platforms.

📍 Location: Chantilly, VA (Also open to Tucson, AZ and Denver, CO)

🕒 Employment Type: Full Time / Direct Hire

🛡️ Security Clearance: Active and Current Top Secret SSBI/SCI (U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED)

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent

🎯 Experience Required: 2–25 years

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor small project teams on end-to-end DSP and communications system development
• Develop and implement DSP algorithms, hardware control systems, and deployment strategies
• Contribute to scientific software design using C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Ensure thorough testing, documentation, and system optimization
• Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders, end users, and external customers

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficient in scientific programming (C, C++, or similar) on UNIX/Linux
• Strong foundation in digital signal processing or communications theory
• Experience with:
• CUDA
• ICE Cards
• Modulation/Demodulation (Mod/Demod)
• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s or PhD in EE, Applied Math, or similar discipline
• 5+ years in system design, deployment, and leadership roles
• Experience with X-Midas and/or MATLAB

Relevant Technical Background (Nice to Have):
• Satellite or cellular communications systems
• Modern modulation techniques
• Signal conditioning, resampling, and equalization
• Interference mitigation and cancelation
• Cyclostationary signal processing techniques
