About the position
Responsibilities
• Perform FPGA firmware architecture and custom digital board design.
• Engage in digital signal processing, messaging, control, and high-speed communications.
• Utilize FPGA devices from Xilinx/AMD, Intel, or Microsemi in design projects.
Requirements
• Currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
• Basic knowledge of FPGA architecture and design, particularly with Xilinx/AMD, Intel, or Microsemi devices.
• Possess basic technical expertise to complete assignments of simple scope and complexity using current technology such as FPGAs, Microprocessors, DSPs, and Interface Controllers.
Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge of digital signal processing functions specific to radar and electronic warfare capabilities.
• Basic VHDL firmware programming capability with experience on FPGA devices.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Microsemi Libero development platforms.
• Familiarity with Mentor Questa HDL simulator and UVM verification techniques.
• Experience with MATLAB modeling and higher-level code development including Nvidia CUDA, OpenCL, Simulink HDL Coder, and Xilinx System Generator.
• Experience in digital board design of mixed signal boards to support FPGAs.
