About the position

Responsibilities
• Create design documents and drawings for projects, including wiring diagrams and bills of materials.
• Assist with engineering support tasks such as relay burden, lighting, load flow, and short circuit calculations.
• Utilize engineering application software for tasks like ground grid design and transformer sizing.
• Review project schedules and collaborate with project engineers to ensure timely project completion.
• Use the document management system effectively.
• Apply corporate standard engineering practices in all tasks.
• Assist with project activities and communication with project engineers and customer representatives.
• Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work.
• Identify potential project-related problems and propose solutions.

Requirements
• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university, preferably with a power background.
• 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals, three phase power systems, and per-unit mathematics.
• Understanding of substation components and their functions.
• Familiarity with engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI.
• Proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
