Responsibilities
• Develop traction inverter for electric vehicle applications.
,
• Design, bring-up, characterize and troubleshoot traction inverter.
,
• Trade-off and optimize inverter design for best powertrain performance.
,
• Perform complex circuit design analysis, thermal analysis, and control analysis.
,
• Hands-on develop circuit schematics and PCB layout.
,
• Perform design failure analysis and support functional safety activities.
,
• Support design validation and end-of-line tests specifications.
,
• Collaborate with mechanical design, software, system, project management, supply chain functions throughout the organization.

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in power electronics product development
,
• Familiar with IGBT, MOSFET etc. devices and power modules
,
• In-depth knowledge of three-phase traction inverter
,
• Hands-on experience of schematic capture and circuit simulation & analysis tools.
,
• Hands-on experience of PCB layout for better signal integrity and manufacturability
,
• MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience with EMI troubleshooting

• Familiar with motor control
,
• Experience with safety-critical automotive hardware development
,
• Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics products.
