The Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Signal Processing Engineer to join the Fort Walton Beach, FL team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The team develops state-of-the-art Hardware in the Loop (HITL) simulation systems used to test guided munitions for the Air Force. The role involves developing advanced HITL simulators from inception to prototype and production, supporting advanced technology radar, guided munition, and EW programs including research and development of advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, high-fidelity radar target signatures, RF modeling, simulation, analysis, and integration with OEM RF guided munition sensors and systems. Candidates must have a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics from an ABET-accredited school with 15+ years of experience or a PhD with 13+ years of experience. Required skills include signal processing algorithms, DSP, radars and RF target signatures, electromagnetics/antenna theory, Mathematica or similar analysis tools, modeling and simulation tools, and digital logic design. Candidates must be residents or willing to relocate to Fort Walton Beach, FL, must be US citizens, and possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
