Job Description
In your new role you will:
• Be a Key Analog Mixed-Signal Designer of High Performance Controller ICs to power AI data centers
• Be involved in all aspects of IC analog/mixed signal design from definition to production. Potential areas of design include precision, low-power analog IP, I/O blocks, A/D & D/A converters, PLLs, as well as sensing and protection circuitry.
• Work closely with Concept Engineering, Applications and Marketing during the definition of chip architecture and feature set.
• Complete schematic capture, circuit analysis and simulation.
• Guide physical designers on critical aspects of the layout and perform post layout parasitic extraction & circuit verification.
• Document and review critical aspects of the design architecture, implementation, and testing.
• Perform silicon bench evaluation and guide technicians for full characterization.
• Work cooperatively with test engineering to ensure testability and low PPM during production.
• Oversee block level behavioral modeling for chip top level verification
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field and minimum of 5years of IC design experience.
• Strong foundation in analog and mixed signal design
• Experience with design and simulation of data converters or clocking IP
• Attention to detail during all aspects of architecture definition, circuit design, debug and documentation.
• Exceptional interpersonal, time management and communication skills.
• Design experience with Power Management ICs is a plus
• Proficiency with the complete suite of Cadence tools for mixed signal design

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate: (El Segundo, CA and Austin, TX)
Minimum of $ 138,900 per year and maximum of $ 191,000 per year
In addition, all full-time employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan
