Our client is seeking a talented Embedded Firmware Engineerin Boston. In this role, you will design, develop, and test embedded firmware for cutting-edge products. You will work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure high-quality performance, scalability, and reliability ofembedded systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in embedded development, microcontroller programming, and a strong understanding of real-time operating systems. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers and embedded systems. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and hardware. Debug and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure system functionality. Optimize firmware performance for power, memory, and processing constraints. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in embedded systems development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in embedded firmware development with C/C++. Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, and hardware/software interfaces. Experience with debugging tools and software version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred: Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee). Experience with low-level hardware interfacing.
