Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with proven expertise in full lifecycle product development, from concept to mass production. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in developing high-performance, high-reliability electronics in cross-functional environments. This hands-on role involves system architecture, detailed circuit design, integration, validation, and production support for next-generation automotive-grade hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 System-Level Design & Integration
• Lead the electrical design of complex automotive electronic modules, including compute, sensor, and actuator systems.
• Collaborate with cross-domain engineers to define electrical architectures and component allocations across video, ADAS, and power systems.
• Support system-level decisions by interpreting functional requirements and translating them into circuit-level specifications.

📐 Component & Circuit Design
• Own the end-to-end development of embedded hardware components from architecture to circuit design, layout input, validation, and release.
• Design mixed-signal and high-speed electronics optimized for reliability, performance, and harsh automotive environments.
• Balance constraints across thermal, mechanical packaging, signal integrity, and long-term durability.

🧩 Multidisciplinary Collaboration
• Partner with packaging, CAE, and integration engineers to meet spatial, structural, and thermal targets.
• Work with software and systems engineering teams to define low-level hardware-software interfaces and ensure functional alignment throughout the stack.

✅ Testing, Validation & Manufacturing
• Support system-level testing and electrical validation across bench, lab, and vehicle environments.
• Troubleshoot failures during validation and qualification, driving root-cause resolution and design updates.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and contract engineering partners to support DFM, PFMEA, and KPI adherence for volume production readiness.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle electrical development, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or high-reliability embedded systems.
• Expertise in mixed-signal and high-speed design (e.g., DDR, PCIe), signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI).
• Experience with BMS or power electronics design a strong plus.
• Knowledge of PCB design and fabrication processes.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading technical collaboration across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.
