Senior Electrical Engineer

From greenfield to operations, our Engineering, Project Delivery and Asset Management capabilities deliver end‑to‑end solutions from strategy and feasibility through to design, delivery and operational support across battery minerals, mineral sands, gold, bulk commodities and water, as well as broader sectors including agribusiness, industrial and ports. 
  
We are currently seeking Engineers interested in office-based roles (Electrical & Instrumentation and Power Systems), as well as Electrical Project Engineers for site-based positions operating on an 8 and 6 roster.
  
Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer: 

• Design, implement, and oversee electrical systems for mining, mineral processing, and other industrial projects.
• Perform electrical calculations (load studies, cable sizing, equipment sizing) and prepare specification documentation for electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver efficient, tailored engineering solutions.

Power Systems Engineer:

• Design and implement power systems and solutions for a range of projects.
• Apply technical expertise to develop and optimise electrical power systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure engineering solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Electrical Project Engineer (Site based, 8/6 Roster)

• Manage the delivery of small-scale site projects, including infrastructure upgrades and site improvements.
• Coordinate project activities across internal teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with site personnel, contractors, and client stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.

Skills and Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical engineering design, commissioning, and testing within mining or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics and control systems.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, including project management and technical design.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
