Connect Search is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer in Sheboygan County.

Responsibilities

Control System Design and Development
• Determine Design Requirements to Meet Project Needs.
• Gather quotes from Vendors and Release Parts
• Develop and Manage PLC and Motion Programs for Machines
• Develop and Manage HMI Programs for Projects

System Integration and Implementation
• Determine how to integrate 3rd party Systems into Full Line Solutions
• Work with 3rd Vendors to provide solutions
• Determine Validation Test for 3rd Party Systems
• Generate Documentation for 3rd Party Systems

Technical Troubleshooting
• Diagnosing and Resolving System Issues
• Providing Technical Support
• Track and Resolve Customer Support Calls
• Promoting Best Practices and Knowledge Sharing

Project Management and Coordination
• Control System Design and Integration Planning
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination
• Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
• Budget and Cost Management

Documentation and Compliance
• Creation and Maintenance of Detailed Documentation
• Version Control and Documentation Updates
• Training Documentation for Internal Teams
• Mentoring and Training of Junior Members

Qualifications
• Education equivalent to a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent training and experience.
• 7 years of PLC/HMI/servo motion programming experience, preferably with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
• Proficiency with programming languages used in PLCs, such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram, to develop and troubleshoot control systems.
• Proficiency in understanding electrical circuits, wiring, and components such as sensors, actuators, and relays, which are integral to control systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and basic electronic measuring devices.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, electrical schematics, and control system diagrams.
• Ability to Travel up to 15%
