Project

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ECAD Engineer to join our automotive electronics development team. In this role, you will take ownership of complex PCB designs across a wide range of automotive applications, from 12V/48V ECUs to high-voltage power electronics (400V and 800V) and Battery Management Systems. You will work as a senior individual contributor, collaborating closely with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, production-ready designs.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop PCB Layout Design with Mentor Xpedition
  • Knowledge SI/PI simulations - Hyperlynx
  • Create and release the related documentation to PCB design in Team Center
  • Lead schematic capture and PCB layout activities using Mentor Xpedition for
    automotive electronic products
  • Design PCBs for:
    • ECUs
    • 48V converters
    • High-voltage power electronics (inverters, OBC, DC/DC)
    • Battery Management Systems (BMS)
  • Support PCB stack-ups, placement strategies, routing constraints, and design rules
    for LV and HV domains (12V, 48V, 400V, 800V)
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, thermal, mechanical, and manufacturability
    constraints
  • Apply best practices for creepage/clearance, insulation coordination, and HV
    safety
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize signal integrity, power integrity,
    and EMC robustness
  • Support prototype builds, PCB bring-up, and design reviews
  • Interface with Electrical, MCAD, Manufacturing Process and Manufacturing Test
    competencies throughout the design process of a PCB

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Experience in PCB design for EMI/EMC compliance
  • Previous design experience in Power Electronics is a plus
  • Proficient in PC applications, MS Office, CAD programs and simulation tools
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
