Senior Digital Hardware Engineer - Relocation to spain

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join one of our high-impact aerospace and defence projects in Madrid, Spain.

Work-life balance: Full-time Monday to Thursday, early Fridays, and reduced working hours throughout the summer.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic ,Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in digital hardware design, PCB architecture, FPGA integration, DDR memory interfaces, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability sectors.
• Advanced electronic design (processors, DDR memories and high-speed communications).
• Hardware architecture and board-level design.
• Requirements management and traceability.
• Hardware development lifecycle and V-Model methodologies.
• FPGA/Firmware integration environments.
• Electronic design tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics or Xpedition.
• Requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Circuit simulation tools (PSpice, TINA, etc.).

What will be your responsibilities?

• Define and develop complex electronic hardware architectures.
• Generate board-level technical specifications.
• Lead hardware design activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements traceability and compliance.
• Coordinate technical activities related to board development.
• Collaborate with firmware, FPGA and systems engineering teams.
• Support design reviews and project milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Contribute to verification and validation activities.
