We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Electrical Engineer II to join our RF Hardware R&D team. This hands-on role focuses on evaluating and testing RF kits and redesigned MSI sustaining products. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of experience in RF circuit design, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in RF amplifier and communication theory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform validation and performance testing of MSI RF kits/circuits
• Troubleshoot and optimize PLL, VCO, Receiver, and RF Power Amplifier systems
• Operate RF test equipment (e.g., Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers)
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Manage multiple concurrent design/testing projects
• Document and clearly communicate complex technical findings
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in RF circuit design
• Solid understanding of wireless communication theory
• Experience with PLLs, VCOs, RF Power Amplifiers, and Receivers
• Familiarity with RF test tools (Network/Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical writing skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear lab safety equipment
