National Grid is hiring a Principal System Planning Engineer – Successful candidate can be located in either our Waltham, MA, Boston, MA, or our Brooklyn, NY office.
National Grid Ventures (NGV) is looking for a knowledgeable, curious, and driven Principal System Planning Engineer to join our Grid Integration and System Planning Team. This individual will support our projects by carrying out transmission analysis and working with interconnection interfaces in MISO, PJM, NYISO and ISO-NE. They will ensure that work products are generated to provide sufficient decision-making information to management and to effectuate the interconnection of projects to the transmission system. This role will provide support to key initiatives including offshore wind, to support NGV’s growth and partnerships throughout the Northeast US.
Salary
New England MA $173,000 - $203,000 a year
Downstate NY $186,000 - $218,000 a year
