Position?Description 

Plan, organize, and coordinate the resources and activities within the electrical discipline during project execution, ensuring compliance with quality and schedule objectives while maintaining the Company's quality standards, policies, and procedures. 


Essential Functions 

  • Ensure project scope is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the quality requirements established in the contract. 
  • Optimize project resources and coordinate the work team to achieve project objectives efficiently. 
  • Maintain effective communication among disciplines, project management, and the client. 
  • Understand and comply with the project scope, identifying and managing potential scope changes arising during project execution. 
  • Contribute to the resolution of technical design issues within the electrical discipline and across other engineering disciplines. 
  • Evaluate the progress of the electrical discipline and the performance of the work team throughout project execution. 
  • Manage and monitor the list of client deliverables, identifying issues or unresolved matters that could delay project execution. 
  • Fully comply with assigned responsibilities and duties in accordance with the organization's instructions, procedures, processes, policies, and manuals. 
  • Demonstrated ability to perform engineering activities, including calculations, technical documentation, and related deliverables. 
  • Perform electrical power system studies and analyses, with advanced expertise in ETAP for industrial, Oil & Gas, and EPC projects. 
Requirements

 

Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or similar industries. 
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering design and applicable codes and standards. 
  • Solid understanding of project management metrics and terminology, including SPI, CPI, Efficiency, PLB, and WBS. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of EPC project contracts. 
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate electrical engineering resources and activities during project execution, ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, and company standards. 
  • Experience in electrical system modeling using ETAP (high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems). 
  • Experience performing electrical studies, including: 

  - Load Flow Analysis 

  - Short Circuit Studies (IEC / ANSI) 

  - Arc Flash Analysis 

  - Power Quality Studies 

  - Harmonic Analysis 

  - Operational Scenario Analysis 

  • Provide technical recommendations and solutions, including capacitor banks, harmonic filters, and protection coordination/settings. 
  • Software proficiency: 
  • ETAP (Mandatory) 
  • SKM Power Tools 
  • Navisworks or equivalent 
  • AutoCAD 
  • Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Languages: Fluent English. 

Education 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 
  • ETAP Certification or completion of an ETAP training course. 
  • Master's Degree and/or PMP Certification (preferred).
