As PCB Hardware Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for developing board-level hardware, including schematics, PCB layouts, and ATE test hardware (probecards, loadboards). You take ownership of hardware projects from kick-off to mass production, and serve as the central hardware expert and point of contact across Test, Product, and Quality Engineering teams.\\n\\nThe role is available in Nabern (Stuttgart region) or Munich.

Drive board level circuit design including schematic capture, routing constraints definition, and PCB layout reviews\\nDesign and develop ATE board hardware (probecards, loadboards) in collaboration with external vendors\\nLead schematic and layout reviews and validate mechanical drawings across the complete hardware scope, including probe-heads, test-sockets, probecards, and loadboards\\nAlign with the broader hardware development team on test system constraints\\nTake full ownership of new hardware design projects, ensuring timely delivery from kick-off to completion\\nTrack hardware schedules and report project status to stakeholders\\nParticipate in bring-up and post-silicon validation of complex new silicon, driving product to mass production\\nSupport the design, debug, and documentation of test hardware for Production, Characterization \u0026 Reliability in close coordination with Test Engineering\\nEvaluate new product hardware testability and implement innovative hardware test solutions for production environments\\nCoordinate hardware-related test activities with internal and external teams\\nServe as the primary hardware expert and point of contact for all hardware-related questions from Test, Product, and Quality Engineering teams\\nWork with multi-functional teams across Apple and external vendors to support product development into mass production\\nCollaborate with peers to achieve efficient and aligned methodologies\\nCoordinate and oversee the incoming and outgoing inspection process for test equipment and engineering samples\\nImplement standardized hardware work procedures to ensure compliance with quality guidelines\\nManage and oversee the shipment and inventory of wafers, devices, and ATE spare parts

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical training and industry experience\\nTeam-oriented, self-driven work style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills\\nFluent in English

Strong electronics background with knowledge of mixed-signal and analog silicon validation\\nExperience with PCB schematic development and layout techniques\\nIn-depth knowledge of ATE systems, preferably Teradyne UFlex\\nHands-on experience with prober, handler, and lab automation environments\\nExperience with design and/or validation of switching converters (Buck/Boost/Charger) and linear regulators (LDO)\\nSolid understanding of Analog \u0026 Power Management fundamentals, Design for Test and Manufacturing concepts\\nGood programming skills in at least one language (e.g. Python, C, C++, Perl)\\nProven ability to manage multiple hardware projects simultaneously, including schedule tracking and stakeholder communication\\nExperience working in cross-functional teams, coordinating across engineering disciplines and external vendors to drive projects to completion
