Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description:

As a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating electrical building services and power distribution systems while collaborating with clients, project teams, and industry specialists.

Education:

  • BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical Engineering
  • ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer/Technologist or working towards registration will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • 4–8 years of experience in electrical engineering design
  • Experience within consulting engineering environments
  • Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems
  • Building services, power distribution, lighting, and reticulation design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design software
  • Ability to prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Strong understanding of South African codes, standards, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to project teams
