Eaton is powering some of the world's largest hyperscale data centres, and we're expanding rapidly across Northern Europe. As a result, we are hiring multiple experienced engineers to support major data centre projects in the Gävle and Sandviken region of Sweden.

 

This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced electrical engineers, commissioning engineers, and switchgear specialists to work on some of Europe's most advanced critical power infrastructure projects while building a long-term career with a global leader in power management.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead installation, commissioning and testing activities on power distribution MV and HV switchgear systems
  • Perform protection relay testing, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Conduct fault finding and technical problem resolution during project execution
  • Lead and coordinate third-party contractors and commissioning teams on site
  • Act as Eaton's technical representative with customers and project stakeholders
  • Ensure all activities are delivered safely and to the highest quality standards
  • Support, mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence across projects

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
  • Significant experience commissioning, testing or maintaining power distribution systems, Hyperscale Datacentre experience would be a plus
  • Strong background working with  switchgear systems
  • Experience commissioning large-scale electrical installations
  • Knowledge of protection relays, electrical testing and fault diagnosis

  • Ability to lead site activities and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
  • Fluency in English
