Objectives:
- Provide technical leadership for electrical power system research and development
- Build technical roadmaps, identify emerging technologies, and drive innovation in integrated power systems, energy management, and shipboard electrification
- Develop engineering talent and support a culture of technical excellence
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical execution of power system research and development projects
- Serve as a technical authority for electrical power and energy systems
- Support customer engagement, technical proposals, and strategic partnerships
- Identify and implement innovative technologies, tools, and methodologies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoW Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

10+β―years of professional experience in electrical power systems
- Advanced knowledge of integrated power systems, power conversion, energy storage, and electrical distribution technologies
- Expertise in laboratory testing, system integration, and data-driven validation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear technical reports and give concise briefings to senior military and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and qualifications:
- Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in naval power systems
- Demonstrated experience providing technical guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex research programs
- Strong ability to develop technical strategies and roadmaps for innovative technologies and research programs
