Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Junior Engineer (BIM) to join our engineering team in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will support the development, coordination, and documentation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for electrical systems across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems using industry-standard software.
• Prepare, review, and update electrical construction drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines to ensure clash-free project delivery.
• Ensure all BIM models comply with project specifications, local regulations, and MEP standards.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts with project stakeholders.
• Support senior engineers in preparing design deliverables throughout different project stages.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and extraction of project information from BIM models.
• Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with BIM best practices, company standards, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical design and BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, coordination processes, and MEP design principles.
• Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection is an advantage.
• Understanding of international and local electrical design codes and standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary BIM coordination environments.
